GRACE ROBINSON DIGITAL DESIGNER

I’m a Los Angeles–based designer with a BFA in Photography from ArtCenter College of Design in Pasadena, with a practice shaped by both visual storytelling and technical execution.

I began my career as a photographer, producing work across fashion, advertising, music, and lifestyle. This foundation behind the lens developed a strong sense of composition, narrative, and detail—skills that continue to inform my approach to design. I later moved into non-profit campaigns, traveling nationwide to document stories for food banks and missions, creating work rooted in authenticity and human connection.

My transition into digital came through hands-on collaboration, where I played a key role in building and scaling a digital department from the ground up. Working across HTML development, animation, production, and content management systems, I developed a deep technical fluency that continues to shape my process. What began as a small, two-person team grew into a multidisciplinary department of 30.

As the digital landscape evolved, so did my focus. I shifted from execution to design, bringing together concept, craft, and technical understanding to create thoughtful, refined digital experiences. For over a decade, my work has centered on design that balances clarity, function, and visual impact.
